I was born in San Pablo City in Laguna, Philippines, son of Mr. Antonio Albano and Mrs. Nimfa Llegos, and a proud Roman Catholic and Filipino. Exerting more efforts for my advocacy is my priority and my sincerity to love and to take care of others is what I aspire to be emulated by others.
I will never forget my On-the-job training (OJT) in Manila. I did not have enough money to sustain my needs for my expenses because I came from a poor family. Borrowing money was out of my mind because I believed I could not afford to pay that time. Fortunately, God used an instrument to help me. The mother of a classmate secretly gave me money that helped me
survive, and from then on, I really felt the love of God to all of us, especially to those who have good intentions; hence, I believe that God is the great provider. I told and promised myself that if ever I could not return the favor to them, I would help others as they did. Then, I was finally employed and had the chance to manage a small business and I was able to give scholarships to those who were deserving but could not afford to continue their education. Giving scholarships to my students gave me the feeling of fulfilment in life, especially when I witness their successes in life. No matter how small one’s help is, it still counts all the time and I always believe in good karma caused by clean intentions.
Last year, we experienced lockdown due to the pandemic brought about by Covid-19. I felt more energized and encouraged to continue my advocacy to get closer to the most needy like the poorest of the poor and the less fortunate people. I went to them and delivered food for free for them to survive. Putting myself on their shoes and sharing moments with them always makes me feel happy, and it is more joyous to know that all of them know how to say “thank you”. I advised them to always thank the Lord. With this inspiration in mind, I decided to put up an Alliance that will surely help many people especially the students of Hospitality and Tourism courses. Hence, I founded this alliance. I am the Founder and President of the Alliance of Hospitality and Tourism Movers of the Philippines (AHToMP). Through this, students and educators in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry who may not afford to avail
national and international conventions because of some reasons will be able to attend. I believe that AHToMP can help by providing free webinars and training so that they can cope with the latest trends in the hospitality and tourism industry. Employees working in the Hotels, Restaurants, Airlines, Cruise lines and other related Hospitality and Tourism Sectors, and Educational Institutions will be provided with additional knowledge to improve their skills through online learning. I also conducted extension programs for the community. I have been working in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry for more than 12 years. This is why membership in the Alliance of Hospitality and Tourism Movers of the Philippines (AHToMP) is free of charge.
