In my current role as a Senior Advisor
at IBM, I have contributed to the development of the GenAI product called WatsonX AI and Watson Data. My contributions have been useful in enabling
large language modules like Granite Chat and Granite Instruct across
different streams. Modified machine language models that have led to multiple
new collaborations globally. As a Senior Advisor at IBM, I have also led the
successful client assignment
(SWG) for implementing
discovery and AI tools in client data centres for DC transformation,
generating an estimated revenue of $8 million
over six months.
Additionally, I am working on Data center
and cloud migration program for Dubai base financial bank named First Abu Dhabi.
The workload modernization include the discovery process with IBM Watson X AI capabilities along with DevOps
automation pipeline for cloud migration.
I also planned and designed the data centre modernisation blueprint for Kaiser Permanente, a major US healthcare organisation. This was a five-year transformation program aimed at modernising KP's five data centres across the United States.
Multiple DevOps methodologies were utilised to create different pipelines for all infrastructure migration and application modernization activities. AI-based data discovery tools (IBM WatsonX) were implemented to achieve 100% accuracy on infrastructure landscapes, leading to major cost savings for KP amounting to $55 million across three years. For this assignment, I was awarded an L2 VISA, which is only provided to individuals with specialised knowledge in a specific domain and industry.
As an expert advisor in healthcare products, I designed and implemented the Lab system (Cerner product). I designed real-time image transfer modules for pathology labs, which reduced the turnaround time by 38 %. This greatly assisted KP in effectively tackling the Lab tests workload. As a Senior Architect at DXC, I led the development workshop for the hospital management solution called eHIS. This DevOps-based cloud solution comprised six different modules. As the lead architect, I successfully implemented these solutions at Kaiser Permanente (USA). The scope of the project was to provide a cloud-enabled solution for hospital management along with DevOps methodologies. Developed and designed cloud-enabled APIs along with DevOps pipelines as per customer requirements, leading to revenue generation of $22 million.
As a technical manager at ING Vysya Bank, I led the initiative named "Sapphire" (Data centre modernization) program. As part of this program, I developed fully automated API gateways for bank payment systems connected to external and central banks. This digital enablement effort led to a reduction of 25 headcounts. Another major effort was implementing an enterprise-wide application monitoring solution, which provided a breakthrough in identifying potential issues well in advance, avoiding major outages and revenue loss. I was awarded by the management for single-handedly leading these efforts. Guided small entrepreneurs in local businesses by utilising digital platforms for product branding and launch strategies. Nittsy.com and modachales.com are two e-commerce platforms that I developed and designed for local manufacturers to launch their business products digitally. These strategies helped the concerned parties increase their customer base and led to a 30% increase in revenue generation over the last two years.
