City Bakery was originally founded in 2002, providing customers with a diverse range of desserts, delicious pastries and nutritious fresh bread. The growing demand for freshly baked products, the Founders of City Bakery decided to form a company under the name of City Investments Private Limited, which was registered in 2005. After the establishment of City Investments, the owner of City Bakery is City Investments Private Limited.

The main goal of City Investments has always been to create an environment for customers to truly enjoy the experience while having their favorite food ranging from sandwiches to a full four course meal. 

City Investments has strived to introduce Male’ different tastes, never compromising the value of the products brought to the customers. While City Investments Pvt Ltd is the market leader of baked goods at the moment despite the large competition in the sector, the company has expanded over the past years. 

City Investments currently owns and operates 2 restaurants and 3 bakery retail outlets in Male’ and 2 retail outlets Hulhumale’. City Investments values bringing new and first-class items from across the globe with a majority of the products imported directly from Europe. 

The company handpicks the best products to bring forward to the customers. Top brands from Italy such as Trucillo for coffee lovers, Manna, mayonnaise and sauce,  Bakels products for bakers. In addition to these, City Investments also distributes the Fentimans, a drink botanically brewed and brought from England. The company also imports Compal from Portugal, one of the most nourishing & tasteful beverages in the local market. Other products include Dolomia water, Master Martini margarine and Victoria yeast.

City Investments Pvt Ltd distributes these products locally and to multiple franchises as well. A good portion of the company’s customer base includes international franchise based in Maldives, such as, Burger King, Maldives Inflight Catering Service, Pizzahut, Merry Brown, KFC, Dine More, Coffee Club, major Resorts in Maldives, and Hotels whereby the company’s products hold a high value. City Investments also provides their products to many wholesalers and retailers in the Maldives.
