I am Dhanush Daxe, born on 22nd February 2005 in Seberang Jaya Hospital, Penang, Malaysia. My name was given to me by my older brother, who was a fans of the famous actor Dhanush. After learning the significance of the name, I added "Daxe" to my identity, making it unique. Now, I am proudly known as Dhanush Daxe.

I come from a large and loving family, with DAD Valla and MOM Mariammah, my parents, always providing guidance and support. I come from a big family of ten, with eight sibilings. four boys and four girls. Growing up together, we were always close, and my family remains the core of my strength and motivation.

Tragedy and Personal Growth

One of the hardest moments in my life came on December 2nd, 2016, when my older brother Darmindran passed away unexpectedly. His loss deeply affected our family, and I found strength in the values he instilled in me—kindness, hard work, and love for family. It is this loss that inspired me to push forward and make the most of every opportunity I have.

Educational Journey and Career Path

After completing my secondary school education in Penang, I decided to move to Kuala Lumpur to pursue my studies at Saito University, where I am currently enrolled in the Diploma in Law Enforcement program. Living away from my family has been challenging, but it has also helped me become more independent.

In addition to my studies, I worked for Agenda Suria Communication as a crew supervisor for two years, where I gained valuable experience in leadership and teamwork.

Modeling and Acting Career

My journey into modeling was not planned. I initially had no interest, but one day, I decided to challenge myself. I began practicing ramp walks, participating in fashion shows, and engaging in photoshoots. Through hard work and determination, I was invited by Sanma Royl Empire Management to audition for a pageant, and I was selected as the 1st Runner-Up in The Ultimate Model Search 2024.

This success opened doors to more opportunities, including participating in the Batik Model Cholan Book of World Records, where I joined other models to represent Malaysia. This experience further fueled my passion for modeling and allowed me to work with renowned brands and international events.

In addition to modeling, I have explored acting by appearing in several Malaysian short films. Although I have not yet taken a lead role, these experiences have strengthened my acting skills, and I hope to continue building on this in the future.

My close friend, Mishaal Favaz from Kerala, has been a major source of support and encouragement, helping me navigate the ups and downs of my journey.

I am also thankful to my mentors and friends, including Ms. Vasheela Balakrishnan, Dr. Malini Navin, Sir Sathya, Close Brother Francis, Mr. Stezo and my ucsi university friends. These individuals have given me the confidence and drive to keep going.

Personal Interests and Languages

In addition to my career in modeling and acting, I have a strong interest in music. I enjoy singing, writing my own songs, and creating movie scripts. Music is a way for me to express myself and connect with others.

Studying at Saito University has also given me the opportunity to make friends from around the world, including countries like India, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Kenya, the USA, Canada, China, Afghanistan, and more. This multicultural environment has allowed me to learn various languages, such as Malayalam, Telugu, Arabic, Chinese, Tamil, in addition to Malay and English.

Motivation and Philosophy

My motivation comes from my faith in God. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and by putting God first, I am confident that He will guide me toward success. The encouragement and belief of my family and friends have always helped me push through difficult times.

Winning Model of the Year 2024 at the Asia Awards was a huge achievement, and it drives me to continue growing both professionally and personally. As I pursue my education, modeling career, and acting ambitions, I remain focused on my goals and dedicated to making a positive impact in the world.
