I am Dinithi Perera Jayasena, a dedicated HR professional renowned for creating inclusive workplaces and driving human-centric strategies. With a keen understanding of the intersection between people and business success, I bring 9+ years of experience in cultivating thriving work environments. I am passionate about empowering and developing companies’ greatest asset – people.

My education journey includes Foundation course in Human Resources Management, Certificate course in Human Resources Management & Professional Qualification in Human Resources Management from Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Sri Lanka. I have also obtained my Master’s in Business Administration specialized in International Business from University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, United Kingdom.

I have over 9+ years of work experience in different industries including blue chip conglomerates, IT, telco and banking. My expertise lies in Talent Engagement & Development, Industrial Relations, Talent acquisition, Culture building and Employee engagement and all related fields in HR. I am currently holding the position of Assistant Manager Talent Development & Engagement at the Union Bank of Colombo PLC.

I am also an individual with good HR skills and determination to learn and grow in an established organization in a mutually beneficial manner. An individual who is hard working, with a very positive attitude who would give an extra commitment towards a task given; thinks out of the box and creative in achieving goals. Willing to take calculated risks as well as responsibility of any work given, motivated to learn and experience new challenges.

I am deeply honored to receive the “Asia’s Young Leader in HR Award” from Asia Awards powered by the World Research Congress under the HR Awards category. It is truly an honor to be recognized from all around the World of such accomplished individuals.

This achievement did not happen in isolation; first and foremost I want to thank God for His goodness and faithfulness in my life. Also I owe a debt of gratitude to many people who have supported me along this journey. To my beloved Husband, my family, your unwavering encouragement and love have been my bedrock. Your sacrifices and belief in me have fueled my aspirations, and I am profoundly grateful.
