MY BIODATA 

Maureen Shyamala Rajamoney, an educator in the government sector, has been teaching for twenty-five years. She possesses a doctorate in English studies and has written many researches in online journals and presented many papers upon invitations in India. As a poet, she has a passion to impart knowledge through her variety of poems which invokes a wide range of modes covering fantasy, reality, lifestyle as well as spirituality. Currently, she serves in Chan Wa National Type Secondary School, Seremban which is in Malaysia.

MY FEELINGS

I am elated to get this Asia awards and RULA Awards as well. I give thanks to God Almighty Jesus Christ for sustaining me throughout this journey. With the strength He has given me, I have the faith that the journey doesn’t stop here and that more blessings await me; more so the wisdom He gives me to impart to those in need. 

I believe that all things work for good in God’s time. I thank God for the wisdom He bestowed on me to be what I am today. Apart from that, my family who has always understood my absence at home and my presence in their lives, I love you. My thanks to my parents of whom I am indebted for to make me what  I am today, an educator. I sincerely wish that my late father was alive to see the blessings I am bestowed my God. My siblings and their families for the struggles that we go through yet making us strong in the bond of love, thank you loads. With the sunshine and rainy days, it is the bond that ties us together and the cement that glues us tight. Believing that the surrounding is the best teacher of all, life itself is the music to one’s air that one breathes. Playing that major and minor chord will definitely produce symphonically a piece that soothes anyone’s ears. Likewise, the ups and the downs anyone goes through will surely refine one to shine through. All with God’s grace and mercy, I sailed through adjusting myself to the storm with perseverance and tolerance being the key. Working and yet working towards contribution is no easy task and yet is by God given strength that I managed to pursue all that I have set out to do. Besides God’s strength, it was my inner motivation that drove me to do what I wanted to do and achieve what I attained till now. This is what I wanted for others to see in me so that I become a blessing to them. An example through leadership is what I wanted to play here and an important role as a mother, student, teacher, wife, daughter and an employee was and is to come, God willing.

1993-95 attended Teachers’ Training College in Penang, Malaysia.

1995 started as a music optioned teacher.

2000 Attained her Bachelor of Edu.in English.

2004 Attained her M.A in English.

2012 Attained her PhD in English.
