Early life and Education

PAT as he is fondly known from young was born in Kuala Lipis, Pahang to a Railway Employee Mr. G.Perumal and housewife, Madam M.Mariaie. He was the youngest of 7 sibling, among 3 sister and 3 brothers. The family moved places to where his father was transferred for work. He received his early education at King George V Primary, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan untill standard 3, then to standard 4 at Sekolah Tengku Bendahara Azman, within the vicinity.  He continued to his secondary education at Dato Hamzah, Port Klang. From his early days, he was very passionate about Electrical & Electronics Engineering, his discoveries was ahead of his peers at school. He accomplished to continue his studies to “The workers Institute of Technology”, Port Klang, and completed his Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering through External accreditation from City & Guide London.  He then further to a Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with Honours from Ohio Northern University, New Jersey USA in 1995. DR. PAT with his experience, hard work and dedication had attained his Doctorate in Business Management (DBA) from Linton University College Malaysia in September 2024. A true reflection of a self-made man.

Early Career

After joining a few organization in his early days, Pat’s career journey gained momentum in the mid 90's when he was appointed as the Assistant Production manager at Lipro Kyowa Electronic Sdn. Bhd. He proved his talent in technical planning and production team processing. He successfully implemented a refined lead quality control initiatives to reduce production downtime to his organization, and improved the companies produce and shipping efficiency. He gained recognition for his effort and was granted an opportunity for a specialised production technical training and leadership program opportunities in Japan for a year.

He was then was headhunted by Prokisa Metal Trading Sdn.Bhd. in 2002 to become their General Manager to take control of their local operations. He initiated his business development capabilities to grow the business to a new level with higher turnover. The company has since increased the vendor partnership exercise where the number of customers grew to over 100 companies in a short span of 3 years. His relationship & business building capabilities has brought customers to a new-continued satisfaction. He founded operational strategies for the company to effectively cultivate employee loyalty and reduced high turnover among local staffs.

Start-up Acceleration

In April 2011, PAT founded a recycling Consultancy called MY METAL COMM, in Klang Selangor. He took effort to the client in preparing documentation according to local authorities’ legal guidelines, analysis and data modelling. This has since boost cost effectiveness for the company. His company, My Metal Comm as it was called provided outstanding customers support, thus increasing business collaboration with new customers and existing ones. He overseas project management plans, timelines to deliveries and budgets with support from his team members. He is serious about maintaining safe work environment. He introduced employee training programs with compliance to government requirements to safety. He believe in cultivating proactive business strategy for timely, more cost effective material supply and services to customers.

New Beginning…… Mymeco Waste Management Sdn.Bhd

As the business grew and the requirement for a larger team was necessary, hence MyMeco Waste Management Sdn.Bhd. was born in August 2014. He envisioned this new organization to fulfil all legal requirements for a fully functional waste management organization. Mymeco Waste Management since, secured Registration as a SME Vendor of Port Kelang Port Authorities, Registered SME with Ministry of Finance Malaysia, Registered SME with Department of Environment, and Registered SME with Ministry of Housing and Local Government. This has paved the way implementing business strategies for the company’s short and long-term goals, while maintaining research and development programs to propel the company towards the forefront of the industry.

He plan ensuring that company policies are being followed by employees. He took personal pride in overseeing the planning, financial performance and other investments, and all decision making process. He supervises the work of his executives while providing guidance and direction to boost productivity and team morale. He represents the company in negotiations with prospective customers and other key contacts so they can foster greater communication skills to secure contracts and customer confidence.

Pat’s Passion for Pets

Dr Pat’s most favourite pastime activities has been his love for dogs and passion for fast cars. Pat with his brother, Nathan, founded a “SCHUTZHUND SERVICES” AND “MyPet Club House”. Both organization provided one stop dog care centre.
