Dr.
Dineswary Nadarajan, a senior lecturer from SEGi University in Kota Damansara,
Malaysia, has been actively engaged in her role since 2014. Her academic
journey culminated in the successful completion of her Ph.D. studies at the
University of Malaya, specializing in Mathematics with a focus on Decision
Science. Commencing her professional career as an educator, she adeptly taught
Quantitative Statistical Methods, Mathematics, and Research Methodology across
diverse programs.
Dr.
Nadarajan's educational contributions extended beyond the classroom. She
facilitated SPSS training for final-year students to support the accomplishment
of their Business Projects at the degree level. Furthermore, she orchestrated
workshops to the development of lecturers within the Faculty of Business,
Accounting, and Law (FoBAL). Eager to expand her expertise across multiple
domains, she honed her expertise in R-Programming, MaxDEA, STATA, and SAS
software, thus enhancing the ability of her research endeavours across various
disciplines.
Due
to her profound fascination with research, she authored numerous research
papers featured in indexed journals, subsequently presenting her findings at
both local and international conferences. Her scholarly efforts were not only
recognized but celebrated, with few of her research papers being acknowledged
as the best and her presentation meriting the distinction of best presenter at
conferences.
Recently,
Dr. Nadarajan secured a prominent national grant, the Fundamental Research
Grant Scheme (FRGS), where she assumed the role of Principal Investigator (PI).
Her project, titled "Marine Traffic Flow and Seaport Efficiency Using
Hybrid Fuzzy Data Envelopment Analysis Utilizing a Machine Learning
Algorithm," exemplifies her commitment to advancing knowledge.
Furthermore, her involvement extended to collaborative pursuits, notably as a
member of a grant titled "Aging Academics in Public and Private
Universities in Malaysia," funded by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. Within
the realm of SEGi University, Dr. Dineswary Nadarajan secured an internal grant
as a Principal Investigator (PI), focused on "Service Quality Delivery
System Among Government Agencies in Malaysia." This institution's
unwavering support has undoubtedly facilitated her growth as a researcher,
allowing her to shine in her pursuits. Her expertise was recognized when she
was appointed as a Project Advisor by the Dean for Research and Development
(R&D) of the Conference.
Her
passion for research was not only acknowledged but lauded, resulting in Dr.
Dineswary being bestowed with the prestigious title of "Asia’s Outstanding
Researcher Award of the Year." This remarkable accolade was conferred in
the category of Asia Research, Scientist, Professor, and Teaching Academic
awards, presented by ASIA Awards powered by RULA awards in collaboration with
the World Research Congress and United Research Council, recognizing her
substantial contributions to a myriad of fields.
