Elymar A. Pascual, EdD, PhD, received the Asia’s Award
for Excellence in Research, from Asia Awards powered by World Research
Congress. He is the District Teacher Research Coordinator of the Department
of Education, Nagcarlan Sub-Office, Laguna, Philippines, Scientific
Committee Member of TIIKM (Sri Lanka), Member of Review Committee of IAFOR
(Japan), Editor of International Journal of Research Publications, Consultant
of N & E Quality Provider (Philippines), Reviewer of Science Publishing
Group, Inc. (New York, USA), and Peer Reviewer of Psychology and Education: A
Multidisciplinary Journal (Aydin, Turkey).
He was educated at University of Sto. Tomas with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, major in Actuarial Science, cum
laude, before spending a year in Manila Bankers Life Insurance, Inc. Following
departure from the insurance world, he then attended Laguna State Polytechnic
University, gaining his both Master of Arts in Mathematics and Doctor of
Education degrees while embarking on an academic career which embraced teaching
basic education, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students. He also
obtained his honorary PhD (Research, Measurement and Evaluation) in American
Management University.
His research orientation has made him resource speaker
& presenter in different seminars and conferences. He's currently a
preacher of the gospel in two localities of the Philippines, helping the poor
and encouraging the brethren to grow in the Lord. When the pandemic hit the
world, Dr. Elymar A. Pascual, Master Teacher II of Talangan Integrated National
High School, became passionate about assisting learners so they can receive
quality education in distance learning. He led his colleagues, the parents and
the learners in this aspect. Getting into the learners’ pace and increasing academic
performance became the main output of his teacher-made brochures and QR-coded
supplemental materials which reached division-wide collaboration.
He even assisted co-researchers in his district and
nearby districts in developing interventions and researches that would make the
delivery of quality education possible amidst world health issue. Through his
assistance both to his colleagues and to his learners, these researches were
presented in International Conference on Education 2022 where he is a member of
a Scientific Committee and his district an academic partner.
He was awarded overall best presenter in the said
event, and gained other several awards being an educator, master teacher and
researcher. His recent study includes localization and contextualization in
teaching, reflective teaching approach, alternative learning system, math
appreciation, and recreational activity leading to academic interest, all of
which are published in an international, peer-reviewed journal. Dr. Pascual
loves research; more so, he loves education and the learners.
