Founded in Mauritius in 1995 by Mrs. Jenny Pidial, Fit-U Garment Ltd is today an  internationally recognised garment manufacturing company. Known for its distinguished quality, customer service and competitiveness, Fit-U Garment Ltd began its operation with a  small capital investment of 20,000 Mauritian rupees with only 5 machine operators and an  average monthly output of 5,000 - 8,000 units of basic clothing for the local market. 

Today the vision of the organization is to aspire to be the benchmark in high value-added  garment making and its mission aims the excel in the manufacturing of high value added  trendy and washed garments through a highly motivated team of professionals. 

The company went all out in the late 1990s and started participating in a number of road  shows and one on one meetings with overseas customers to develop a client-base. With the  commitment and perseverance of its ambitious board of management, the company  embarked on a new journey in 1998, that of becoming a factory that manufactures and  exports on an international market and has since registered as an Export Processing Zone  (EPZ) company. 

Niche market manufacturing, high value addition and adaptability became the core  competence of the Fit-U Garment Ltd which, even in the era of the economic recession,  enabled the company to thrive. These strategic orientations coupled with quick response to  market requirements have proved to be the order winning criteria for sustaining the  business. 

Having developed the required competence and know-how in the sector, the company  began to design and develop its own range of knitted products including added value sports  and street wear such as t-shirts, polo shirts, joggers, leggings and sweaters. 

Fit-U Garment Ltd is accredited with several certifications including WRAP GOLD  CERTIFICATE, ISO 9001: 2008 and SMETA. Today the company is the proud supplier to NEW  BALANCE, ADIDAS, REEBOK, FILA, HI-TEC, SERGE BLANCO & BARBOUR amongst others.  

Nowadays Fit-U Garment Ltd has a labour force of 100 employees and occupies an industrial  floor space of 30,000 square feet in St-Pierre, Mauritius. It has capital equipment to the  tune of USD2 million, has an average production capacity of 100,000 units per month and  has an annual export revenue of over USD3 million. Fit-U has developed a valued relationship  and partnering with well known brands across the world.
