Indevarsing Adjodha has bagged Asia's Young Achiever Award

Indevarsing Adjodha was born on 17 November 1986 in Mauritius. He is married to Namrata Devi. He is the son of Mr. Kenraze and Late Mrs. Deviany Adjodha. His brother is Anil Kumar Adjodha. Indevarsing, also well known by the name of Rajiv, has a wonderful sense of humor. He never fails to entertain his surroundings with instant jokes. In addition, he is considered to be a one man show comedian by his friends, as he demonstrated his talents in numerous family and professional gatherings. 

After his secondary studies, he pursued his Tertiary Education at the University of Technology, Mauritius in the field of Information Communication and Technology with specialization in Network Security & Netback up. He is also a CISCO Certified Network Associate and MICROSOFT Certified Technology Specialist. In 2009/2010, he went to Japan for a Certificate in Leadership and Management in the Educational field at the United Nation University. Indevarsing is a holder of a Diploma in CCTV surveillance from Axis Academy South Africa and a certificate in critical thinking from Metropolitan University UK. Indevarsing is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Level 7 in Information Technology Management at Metropolitan University UK.

Indevarsing was a hardworking student at secondary school level. He was awarded prizes for coming out first in Mathematics and Communication Design & Technology. During his school days, he has been very active in sports and he has never missed out on a cross country or even the regional cross country at that time. He was also the leader of the Hot Boys Volleyball Club in 2000-2003. In addition, he was a member of the Leo Kickboxing Club and won the Quatre Bornes Championship during three consecutive years; 2005, 2006 and 2007 in the category of -54 kg. During 2005, he won 65 matches in which 15 were by K.O and 25 by abandoned. He has also practiced Muay Thai and Kendo Martial Arts. Being passionate about extreme sports, he did the International Bungy Jump of 200 meters at New Zealand in 2009. 

Indevarsing Adjodha worked as a helper at Quatre-Bornes Marketplace and at a Clothing shop during his school holidays when he was just 16 years old. In 2006, he worked as part time security guard in the SOS Company. During the same year, he also worked in the housekeeping department at Hilton Hotel Mauritius. In 2008, he joined the Whitefield Business School as Trainee Lecturer in the programming field and has worked as Educator at the Mauricia Institute.

Indevarsing joined Innodis Ltd in 2011 as IT operational analyst. He was responsible for the project of warehousing and in charge of the training of staff on mobile system and oracle forms, the GPS system and of the CCTV security management. During his career at Innodis Ltd, he got two promotions from IT operational analyst to team leader in 2014 and System Administrator, Senior Netback up and CCTV security management in 2016. Moreover, he was in charge of dealing with all IT suppliers concerning networking, CCTV, Netback up, hardware of payroll system, IT equipment, mobile computing devices and fiber team. In 2020, Indevarsing was employed as IT and System Manager at the MTI group of companies and his main duties were to make R&D on different technologies for the benefits and digitalization of each department and companies.

Indevarsing has travelled to more than 27 Countries since 2009 till now. He was a member of the Ship for the World Youth organization whereby he got the opportunity to visit countries all over the world including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Tonga, Vanuatu, Fuji, Egypt, UAE, Venezuela, Canada, Norway, Yemen just to name a few. During this program, he participated in the setting up of a SWY Forest in Japan and the Model United Nation seminar in the sustainable project at the University of United Nation, Tokyo. 

Indevarsing started community services during his school days. He joined the Mauritius St-John Ambulance as first-aider in 1998. In the same year, he was nominated as the 3rd best first-aider in Mauritius. He then joined the Fellowship First-Aider as head of the unit in 2000 and was promoted to regional officer. In 2003, he joined the Mauritius Red Cross Society. His acquired leadership skills had brought him forward to create the Beaux-Songes Youth Club with 25 active members in 2003. As President of this club, he has been able to accomplish successful projects. In the same year, Indevarsing led the Civic Action Team of his school and also became a leader of the Duke of Edinburgh Award program also known as the National Youth Achievement Award. His commitment to social activities was well-known in the region, and he was even recognized by the Honorable Minister of Youth and Sport. He was asked to lead the Regional Youth Council of the West part of the island in 2004. 

The year 2004 marks his entrance to the Rotary International as he was the initiator of re-setting up of the Beaux-Songes Rotary Community Corps and stayed there as President for three consecutive years. In 2005, Indevarsing was invited as a guest in the Rotaract Club of Quatre-Bornes and inducted in 2006. In 2005, he was awarded a Gold Award by the President of the Republic of Mauritius at the State House and joined the Gold Awards Holders Association.  In 2008, he was nominated by the Deputy of the region to be part of the Community Development Association under the Sugar Industry Labour Welfare Fund (SILWF) and organized the 50th anniversary of SILWF. In 2009, Indevarsing joined the Force Vivre of Beaux Songes. In addition, he joined the Mauritius Ship for the World Youth Alumni Association and the Ship For the World Youth Alumni Association of Japan. In 2014, Indevarsing joined the Rotary Club of Saint Pierre as Charter Member and President of the club in 2017.
