Dr. Alston Choong Wai Kwong is a Consultant Sports, Exercise and Musculoskeletal Medicine Physician and Academician from the Sports Medicine Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is specialised in treating sports-related and musculoskeletal injuries, sports rehabilitation, ultrasound-guided interventional pain therapy, injection of orthobiologics such as prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma, and mesenchymal stem cells (also known as regenerative sports or musculoskeletal medicine). Graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the National University of Malaysia, he continued to pursue his postgraduate Master of Medicine in Sports Medicine (M.Med Sports Med).
