Mohamed Marooz Mohamed Risham was born in Wellawatte, Western Province, Sri Lanka, on February 15, 1981. He attended Colombo 12's Hameed-al-Husseinie national school. He finished his education by taking the GCE Ordinary Level Examination. He was motivated to work in a variety of disciplines since he was committed to social service.
