Message to the Asia’s Award Team
I am delighted to receive this award from Asia’s
Awards powered by RULA Awards and World Research Congress for Asia’s No.1 Brand
Award under the category of Asia’s HR Award with the title “Asia's Best Human
Resources Executive of the Year Award”. I am proud and humbled to be recognized
for my continued efforts in contributing excellence leadership in terms of HR recruitment,
training, government relations and people development as well. It is a well
privilege to be recognized by the industry and I am incredibly thankful for
Asia’s Award team.
Kudos to the entire team for their efforts and
support in meritoriously awarding these prestigious awards to any company,
individual or any organization who excellently excel in their respective career
expertise. A big thank you to my family, friends and to my superior Mr. Faisal for
the mentorship, guidance and support. Special thanks to my group of friend’s
“Mam Marge and Gino House Group” who had my back throughout this journey.
Once again thank you so much to the entire event
organizer specially the panel of judges for taking the time for judging and
voting for all the nominees. It really means so much to me to have your support
and to enable me to have the most incredible award.
Advice to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Abroad.
As an OFW, you should invest on education while
you are still young. Make your higher education experience equally rewarding in
both social and academic standards. Education does not stop after you graduate
from college, having a good work in Philippines or abroad. It does not stop
after you finish your Master’s degree or Doctorate either. Wisdom acquisition
is a moral duty. It is not just something you do to advance in life. Finding
the balance between personal life, work and studies can be a true challenging
specially to OFW. It is never an easy task to juggle work and studies with
social life, but with effective strategies, everything is possible.
Recently, there is a viral video for OFW who
spent her 30-year career abroad and return to Philippines without savings since
all her money was used in supporting her families. This does not mean that OFWs
should never send goods back home or supporting your family and relatives back
in Philippines. What is important is to strike a balance between spending and
saving/investing on education or business to lead a financially successful
future once you retire. Being generous with our families, relatives and friends
is not uncommon traits for OFW. However, preparing for a stable financial
future is a better expression of love with yourself and to your beloved family.
