Joshua S. Salcedo grew up as the youngest child of 3 siblings. He grew up in Cavite, Philippines. Since he was a child, he was very close to his family already.

He started school at the age of 5 at a Private-school. For 2 years he studied in a Private school until his Family experienced Financial-problems. So, he transferred to a Public school. After 2 years, he came back to a private school where he finished his Grade school. He had no interest in school during grade school. He would often get failing average grades.

When he’s in High School a lot of things had changed. In Grade 7, he maintained a passing grade already. In Grade 8, he became the Top 7 of his class, he started competing in Quiz bees, and he made his first TV drama appearance. In Grade 9, he became the Top 5 of their class and competed in 3 different quiz bees. In Grade 10, he became the Top 3 of his class, a student council officer, and competed in 6 different competitions. He developed his love in Public Speaking and Youth Leadership. He also started becoming a theatre actor at that time.

In 2018, he became a member of Junior Chamber International Katipunan branch. It is an organization and its goals are aligned in 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Joshua is a very active member of the organization. He was promoted in 2019 as the Board of Director for Collaboration.

In 2020, the pandemic started and Joshua’s family is experiencing Financial problems again. He got depressed, he was body-shamed for gaining weight, and he was losing hope until he started reading the bible. He was instantly changed by the bible. And he finds a way in earning money to help his family which is by competing in National and International Competition. Here are the competitions where he won:
