GRANDMASTER JUGESHWOR SINGH KSHETRIMAYUM
Jugeshwor was born on 2nd February, 1981, in
Kakching, Manipur, into a modest yet disciplined household. His father, Mr.
KshetrimayumIbomcha Singh, served in Manipur, while his mother, Mrs.
KshetrimayumOngbiKeinaton Devi, devoted herself to raising the family as a
homemaker. From an early age, Jugeshwor demonstrated a deep-rooted passion for
sports and physical discipline, qualities that would come to define his life’s
journey.
Jugeshwor’s strategic approach to
international collaboration and coaching has significantly advanced India’s
standing in Kung Fu, Wushu, Vo Co Truyenand KuoShu. As
the Indian Chairman and Executive Committee Member of The World KuoShu
Federation (USA), he has played a pivotal role in garnering international
recognition for Indian martial artists.
His leadership has facilitated greater
participation and medal wins for Indian athletes in global competitions. By
consistently representing India as a coach in prestigious events worldwide, he
has laid a strong foundation for future athletes, ensuring that India is not
merely seen as a participant, but as a formidable force on the international
martial arts stage.
Under the mentorship of international masters such as Grandmaster Huang Chien-Liang of China and Grandmaster Le Kim Hao of Vietnam, Jugeshworadopted a global vision for martial arts, blending local traditions with international standards. His commitment to inclusivity and empowerment led him to establish the New Kung-Fu Training School in 2000, providing affordable training to underprivileged youth and producing over 280 national and international gold medallists.
After moving to Bangalore in 2005, Jugeshwor balanced full-time coaching with advanced training, earning multiple international medals and becoming a trusted leader of India’s national martial arts teams. His pioneering role as the first Manipuri athlete invited to the Shaolin Temple Martial Arts Festival exemplifies his global influence.
In 2020, Jugeshworrealised his dream by founding the Warrior Kung-Fu Academy, which rapidly expanded, nurturing hundreds of students across multiple branches. His visionary leadership and dedication have been recognised through prestigious awards, cementing his role as a transformative figure in Indian and global martial arts.
Jugeshwor Singh Kshetrimayum exemplifies the new generation
of sports leaders who are not only champions but architects of the future,
building platforms, inspiring communities, and creating opportunities that
transcend borders. His journey underscores how passion, perseverance, and purposeful
action can shape the future of sports, making him a true leader to watch in
2025 and beyond.
Jugeshwor’s journey has never been about
accolades, but about impact. Yet, in 2025, his consistent dedication to shaping
lives through martial arts and leadership was recognized on multiple national
and international platforms. These honours reaffirm his influence not just as a
martial arts expert but as a mentor and changemaker who continues to inspire
future generations.
He was presented with the Global Excellence in Leadership Award
by The International Awards Forum - USA in New Delhi. The Global Iconic Excellence Award, conferred by Pragathi Media Events
in Bangalore, further celebrated his enduring commitment. The National Prestige Award 2025, awarded
at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dwarka, New Delhi, by The Universal Media,
acknowledged his contributions on a national scale.
Continuing the year’s recognition streak,
Jugeshwor was honoured with the International
Brilliance Award 2025 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, by Hypedge Media Group. His
efforts were also acknowledged with the Delhi
Ratna Award from the International Human Rights Ambassador Organization.
Finally, he received the 3rd Asia’s
Leadership Award on 28th February 2025, once again at the Radisson Blu Hotel,
New Delhi, by The Universal Media.
These recognitions speak volumes, not about
prestige, but about a life devoted to empowering others.
Jugeshwor has coached India’s national team at several International tournaments. These include:

Under his guidance, India has not only competed but also succeeded. His student, MayanglambamBimoljit Singh, won bronze medals in the Asian Games and received the Arjuna Award. Many others have followed similar paths, bringing honor to the country.
Jugeshwor’s coaching style is rooted in care, patience, and strong communication. He doesn’t shout or intimidate. He listens, guides, and supports. That’s why his students trust him - not just as a teacher, but as a mentor for life.
