Chairman of Micro E I Group of Companies (Pvt) Ltd is the parent company of Micro Electric International (Pvt) Ltd, Micro Enterprises & Electrical (Pvt) Ltd, Royal Organic Exports (Pvt) Ltd, and Hypro Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. 

Commenced the business operations as an Entrepreneur in the year 1995 in the Sri Lanka Electrical Accessories Industry. A result-driven, self-motivated and resourceful Chairman with a proven ability to develop and strengthen management teams to maximize company profitability and efficiency.

Experienced in leading and growing all sectors of a business to make it a dynamic and progressive organization. Possesses excellent communication skills and is able to establish a sustainable and profitable relationship with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders across the world. 

Key Skills and Competencies: 

A self-motivational Entrepreneur in Sri Lanka since 1995 with two and half decades of experience in the sector. Skilled in leadership, raising revenue, boosting efficiency, and manufacturing of lower cost with high-quality electrical accessories to Sri Lanka, Europe, and Middle East Markets by contributing on a larger scale to the gross domestic production in Sri Lanka. 

Micro Enterprises & Electrical (Pvt) Ltd is a trading company importing electrical items and supplying them to the government sector, corporations, and private organizations. 

Royal Organic Exports (Pvt) Ltd exports organic products.

such as fruit & vegetable, herbs, spices, seasonings, cereals, pulses, oil, coconut, beverages, etc. 

Hypro Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is the first SmartPhone manufacturing company in Sri Lanka in a joint venture with a Korean Company.

CAREER SUCCESS: 

Like all great journeys, the mother company "Micro Enterprises" was established in 1995 as a sole proprietor company and subsequently was registered as a partnership trading company. Since then, it has been operating successfully for over two decades. To cater to the high demand of the market and ever-increasing clientele, Micro Enterprises was reregistered as a limited liability company under the name of Micro Enterprises & Electrical (Pvt) Ltd, in 2018. Since then, the company's business growth has been averaging at 40% to date. As a result of the steady growth, the company was moved to its own premises, located at no. 296, Sri Rathnajothi Sarawanamuttu Mawatha, Colombo 13, consisting of a 17500 sqft area., with a large number of direct & indirect employees and machinery, etc. Further, the company largely contributed to the Gross Domestic Production of the country while providing direct & indirect job opportunities for more than 350 employees. It was a great accomplishment to reach such heights within a short period.

With the intention of venturing into the domestic and industrial electrical component market, the sister company, Micro Electric International (Pvt) Ltd., was established in 2018. As a responsible commercial entity, the aim was to contribute to the industry and country for prosperity and economic stability, whilst welcoming the domestic & industrial opportunities and continuing the principle of management of “quality first, prestige first, and customer first” through the exports and distribution process. With high credit standing, best quality products, an excellent service system, with a competitive price policy, it was always the focus on establishing a stable long-term strategic business cooperation with the clientele. 

Based on the company’s sustained effort, teamwork, and enterprising spirit, it has quickly developed a large-scale modern production enterprise specializing in electrical products/components and electrical accessories.

CREDENTIALS: 

In addition to the business ventures, I have been very enthusiastic and actively contributing to building new businesses & entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka. I serve as a Director to the Sri Lanka Industrial Development Forum (#IDF) Advisory Board of Directors with the ambition to further strengthen the Made In Sri Lanka concept in the future. 

I have been an active member since 2015 and currently holding the position of Senior Vice President of the Colombo Business Association #CBA, a leading business association in Sri Lanka. 

I was elected as the Chairman of the Colombo Electrical Traders Association (#CETA). Our social services were well appreciated and recognized by the government sectors and authorities in Sri Lanka, especially during COVID -19 pandemic and also during the tenure as CETA’s Chairman last year.
