Firstly, I would like to thank ‘Asia awards’ powered by ‘World Research Congress’ for giving me the award titled as “Asia’s Excellent Academician Award”. It is a great honor receiving this award and it gives me an immense pleasure and happiness. This award will boost my confidence and will be helpful to my future career. It is really a proud moment for me. 

To write a little about me, I would say my full name is Dr Mohammad Nazmul Hasan Maziz. Currently I am working as Associate Professor in Medical Microbiology at the Graduate School of Medicine, Perdana University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have twenty years of teaching experiences and twenty-five years of research experiences in different public and private universities in Malaysia. 

I have been involved in teaching different programs like Doctor of Medicine (MD), MBBS, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (BBMS), Bachelor of Optometry, MSc in Public Health, MSc in Medical Sciences and PhD in different well-known universities in Malaysia. I have contribution in producing more than 3000 doctors (medical and dental) in Malaysia. I have tremendous contribution in developing different program curriculum including MBBS, BDS, BBMS and many more. I was awarded the ‘Most Popular Lecturer’ and ‘Best Dressed’ few times by MBBS and Dental students.

I held many administrative positions including Acting Dean, Deputy Dean, Director of Basic Sciences, Head of Programs, Head of Education Policy and Curriculum Committee, Head of Department and many more.

I have received more than 200 academic and non-academic certificates. For my academic qualification, I would like to mention that I have done BSc in Microbiology from Bangalore University, India and completed Masters in Medical Microbiology from the very well-known Manipal University, India. Following that I completed PhD in Molecular Medical Microbiology from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2004 at the age of 28 years. 

I authored/co-authored eleven (11) scientific books.The books are useful for those who wish to do Masters or PhD in the field of Molecular Biology, Medical Microbiology, Pharmacology, Genetic Engineering and Public Health. All the books are being sold in amazon.com and other online stores. 

I have published over 150 scientific research articles in peer-reviewed international medical and health science journals. I am editor and reviewer of many international journals. My research area is medical microbiology, infectious disease and public health. I am proficient in molecular techniques, molecular characterization, plasmid and chromosomal DNA extraction, electrophoresis, gel purification, PCR, hybridization, DNA probe preparation, bacteriophage induction, cloning, restriction enzyme analysis, sequencing and analysis, primer designing, animal pathogenicity testing, MIC test, antibiotic sensitivity testing, ELISA, immunofluorescence, microscopy, tissue culture, bacterial, viral, parasitic and fungal diagnosis, epidemiological study etc. He has received many research grants from Malaysian government to carry out my research. I have supervised many bachelor, master and PhD students for their research projects. 

I was invited as a speaker and presented many research articles in national and international conferences including in USA, Thailand, Malaysia, India etc. I have conducted many national and international seminars and workshops. I am also a regular writer of different articles in Malaysian local ‘The Star’ daily English newspaper. My articles are mainly regarding health issues. I have been a judge for different research and poster presentation nationally. I was also external examiner for different bachelor, master and PhD thesis nationally and internationally. 

Just to mention about my awards, I was awarded as an Outstanding Bangladeshi Citizen in overseas by Bangladesh Government. I was awarded as one of the Most successful People in Malaysia by Britishpedia, UK. I was also awarded as the Best Lecturer award, best researcher award and many more.
