I started Doc On Alert because I saw the need for accessible, quality and affordable health care everywhere around us and across all socio-economic classes. Doc On Alert operates an online platform that enables patients to connect with doctors from computers, smartphones, and tablets. Its platform enables audio or video chat with physicians on various medical issues.

We are a solution to the increasing demand for healthcare. We believe that everyone should have instant and affordable access to a board-certified doctor whenever and wherever needed. This belief is what unifies all of us at Doc On Alert. The lack of access to affordable healthcare is a large and growing problem, making our mission that much more important. We guarantee no waiting time when you need a quality consultation; through a mobile laboratory service and medicines delivered to your doorstep, you never need to leave where you are when you need care; and follow up to make sure we arrive at the best outcome. We believe that access to healthcare is a right and should be patient-centered. This is the starting point for all our healthcare solutions.

Winning this award to me is just absolutely phenomenal. I didn’t expect it, but considering what our team has been working towards for the past 8 months, this is just the inspiration to keep going on the road we’ve been heading down and trying to make the next 12 months the best 12 months we’ve ever had. We’re really proud, and we’re grateful to the ASIA Awards for recognizing the excellent work that our team does.

BIOGRAPHY

Musekiwa Moyo is a social innovator passionate about investing in the future of Zambia health care by improving their access to quality and affordable healthcare and mentorship through innovative initiatives.  He is the founder and CEO of Doc On Alert, one of the largest telehealth platforms in Zambia. Mr. Moyo is an experienced technology entrepreneur and investor spanning a career of 10 years.

Musekiwa Moyo has had several nominations for the work he is currently doing in Zambia. He has been nominated for the Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum, nominated for the African Change-Makers Initiative Awards 2021(ACiAwards2021) Health & Wellness Category, Nominated for the Healthpreneur of the Year 2021 by Foya 2021 Africa.

Mr. Moyo has a degree in computer science. He also has acquired several diplomas.
