NHK Holdings (Private) Limited was incorporated on the 14th March 2005 under  Registration No. PV 6528 initially for the hiring of heavy machinery. Thereafter,  NHK Agro Division and NHK Landscaping were launched in 2008 and 2012  respectively.  

NHK Agro Division is established to develop the inter-crops (such as fruits and  vegetables and ornamental foliage) targeting the local market becoming the First  Sri Lankan Company to introduce live-ornamental foliage to supermarkets and departmental stores shifting the trend from plastic to natural. NHK Landscaping  has so far provided its professional services to many clients in the private and  public sectors.  

In 2008, Mr. Aruna C. Keerthiratne joined NHK Holdings (Private) Limited as the  Managing Director. With his international exposure and hands-on experience in  various fields, he was able to enhance and convert this award-winning business  into a globally recognized brand name.  

Presently the company has three operating hubs in Colombo, Kandy and  Rambukkana and has provided direct and indirect job opportunities to many in  the relevant areas. The well-organized transport network is a greater support for  its business growth.  

As a need of the hour, the company is equipped to meet the demand for compost,  which will support organic agriculture, under the new vision of the country.  Also, the company manufactures coconut oil and charcoal, which will help the economy of the country in saving foreign exchange.
