Our Story 

Pesterminators Pvt Ltd, one of the leading pest management service provider, who is pioneer in changing  the pest management industry in Maldives with new innovative products and service excellence. It’s a proud moment for us to receive the “Best Professional Pest Control Service Provider Award” from Asia  Award powered by Rula Award. We are enthusiastic and honored to receive the award, which signifies  the recognition for our hard work and commitment to the pest management industry in Maldives. 

The company launched in 2015 with the motive of bringing change to the existing industry which heavily  relied on old methods and practices in controlling the pest related issues. Maldives is highly dependent on tourism and it is being one of the major sectors which earns foreign currency to the country. Pest  problems is one of the vital factors in deciding the reputation of the industry and with the changing  climatic factors it is becoming one of the major threats to tourism segment. Pest Management is one of  the important factors to overcome such issues.  

Pesterminators offers the wide range of solutions utilizing the concepts of Integrated Pest Management  (IPM) practices to provide a sustainable and long lasting environmentally friendly solution to overcome  such issues. Pesterminators team of experts are committed to minimize and prevent the threat of any  household pest issues. 

‘Pesterminators’, a unique concept developed by visionary leaders who foreseen the future of Industry.  The company sets its vision as “Passion to safeguard the people and create awareness on harmful pests”.  This motive pushed the company to set up the plan in creating awareness and education among stake  holders. In 6 years’, time from the launch the company has achieved its goals to a certain extend.  

The journey since the inception was not easy. The company started from Zero and faced so many struggles  down the line. But the team never stopped in giving up the task of achieving the set goals. The support  from the sister company ‘Agro Services Pvt Ltd” was immense during this period. Agro Services being the  market leader in Agriculture segment in Maldives, helped us to maintain the reputation in the industry,  which benefitted us slowly, until Pesterminators achieved its own name and reputation among the  stakeholders.  

Pesterminators Pvt. Ltd did not wanted to be another pest control company which sells chemicals or spray  chemicals to solve pest problems. The company’s prime objectives are to educate the people on pest  management aspects and developing the Household pest control industry as whole in par with the other  developed countries. We always rely on the principle of ‘QUALITY’. The company always ensures the  deliverance of quality products and unmatched service to the consumers of Maldives. The organization  tends to pride itself of being a professional service provider with comprehensive possession of experience,  technology, technical know-how and best products from world renowned international firms.

Pesterminators is the one and only pest control service provider who has a dedicated R&D division to  identify the innovative and environmentally friendly solutions which suits for the Maldivian climatic and  topographical condition. This ensures that our products are effective in giving the best solution and  optimum control for any pest problems. 

Pesterminators maintains the quality through well trained staff and academically qualified management  team. The staffs of Pesterminators are trained in various institutions and have wide experience on Pest  control. They are continuously trained on new technologies and the safety standards to provide a quality  unmatchable service to our clients. The management team associate with various international bodies  and attend the international conferences conducted by pest control associations throughout the world,  to bring the new technologies and developments to Maldivian market. 

We Pesterminators are passionate about science. To achieve it we have partnered with the pest control  experts and entomologists all around the world to understand pests and help educate the stake holders,  and young generation. We have conducted the first ever pest management conference in Maldives during  2019. This is the first of a kind seminar in Maldives to educate the resorts and other stake holders on the  development of pest management industry in the world. World renowned academics and Pest  Management professionals who had discussed about the challenges in the industry and way forward. 

The company faced its biggest difficulty during the pandemic as like other businesses. It has hit the  Maldivian economy, mainly the tourism sector. As a company directly associated with the tourism sector, we had the direct impact as well. The choice for most of the companies were to cut down the cost by staff  redundancy and reducing the salaries. However, the management of Pesterminators had the vision to  take care of the staff while ensuring the job safety and profitability of the company. They have clearly  strategized and successfully achieved the said goal during this pandemic period. All the staffs were given  full salaries and no staffs were lost their job. In addition, the company ended up with profit target during  this year too. This year helped Pesterminators to study the market even deeper and set up the platform  to revolutionize the business and the industry as a whole. The company see a great future in Pest  Management and will keep on working towards improving it in par with international standards.
