Unnoticed Invention: ‘Dead Body Freezer Box’

I feel very much proud and happy to let you know that we have designed and introduced the 'Dead Body Freezer Box' in the year 1996 to preserve the Deceased. In India it is considered very important to conduct a Funeral in the best possible manner. There were many techniques being followed in India to preserve the Deceased to perform the rituals and to ensure the important relatives and friends living far away to attend and pay Homage to the beloved. In the early 1990s the dead body was preserved using Dry ICE Bars so that it helps to give some time for all the relatives living far away to come pay their Final Tribute & Homage to their departed loved one. Similarly the same way Dry ICE Bars are used in Mortuary Van when there is a need to take the deceased to their native for Final Rites.

We did a lot of research work to preserve the Deceased considering the climatic conditions and the properties of the Human Body and finally came up with the 'Dead Body Freezer Box' in the concept “Keeping the Dead Alive”. We can proudly say that a great revolutionary concept was introduced in 1996 and even now the model remains the same for the purpose. The Dead Body Freezer Box was patented on 11th November 1999 at the Patent Office, Government of India bearing the Design No. 180768. We suffered a lot to promote this concept to people until it was used for Veteran Actor Late Chevalier SIVAJI GANESAN AYYA and later it became popular and inevitable. Now in an event of death in a Family, the first search is for the Freezer Box. Now we could see this Freezer Box even in a remote village of India. Our design for the purpose remains the same from its inception and Lakhs of people are involved in this Business and it serves as a livelihood for millions of Indians.
