For Biography

I am a dedicated healthcare professional and passionate advocate for community welfare, born with a vision to create a righteous and independent land for all citizens, certifying pride and prosperity. I have embarked on a journey fueled by passion and commitment. I currently reside at No.83/4,Kandaliyadda paluwa Ganemulla.

With a diverse range of professional qualifications and experience, I have established myself as a prominent figure in both social and professional spheres. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Hons) from the Open University of Malaysia, along with certifications in various medical fields such as advanced cardiac life Support and Emergency Medical Responder. My educational journey is marked by a commitment to continuous learning and skill development and pursued further training including the Training Trainer Programme for First Aid Instructors in August 2014.

Certification in Initial Trauma Care for Nurses and Abdominal Wound Care for Nurses and ENLS Trainer of Trainer Course in May 2017.Postgraduate Degree in Patient Safety & Quality from the University of Colombo, where I further honed my skills in quality management and healthcare standards. Additionally, I hold a Diploma in Quality Management from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI).

My journey in the healthcare sector began as an Emergency Medical Technician and First Aid Trainer at St.John Ambulance, where he served diligently from 2010 to 2012 . He further honed my skills as a Nursing officer at several Hospitals, gaining valuable experience in patient care.

Currently, I serve as the Executive for Quality, Health & Safety at Hemas Hospitals Wattala Srilanka, the flagship hospital of Hemas Hospitals & Laboratory Chain. I am providing a pivotal role in ensuring that the Hospital adheres to International Standards of patient care and Safety. Hemas Hospital, accredited with Australian Council on Health Care Standards International (ACHSI) and Integrated Management System Stands as a testament to his commitment to excellence.

Beyond my professional endeavours, I am d actively engaged in various extracurricular activities and community service initiatives. I have served as Daham Teacher, Deputy Head Prefect and Chief Coordinator in different capabilities, demonstrating my leadership and Organizational Skills.

My dedication and Contribution have been recognized through numerous awards including the Deshamanya Honorable Award,Justice of Peace and memberships in professional societies such as Srilankan Society of Critical Care Nurses and Health Informatics Society of Srilanka,Registered Nurse (PHRCS) and member of various professional societies including the A & E Nurse’s Association and Critical Care Nurses Society of Sri Lanka and Associated of Charted Professional of managers in Srilanka, Member of the institute of Internal Auditors Sri Lanka.
