Raagidhasakti has bagged Asia's Young Outstanding and Talented Women Achiever Award

I am R Raagidhasakti and first of all ,I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Asia Awards powered by RULA AWARDS, World Research Congress, Mr Abuthahir, to honour me with this prestigious award and I am very proud to be an awardee with a praise worthy award title of "Asia's Young Outstanding and Talented Women Achiever Award" under Asia's Women of Influence Award category.

A little background of myself,I was brought up by my grandparents in a very small agricultural village where I was taught to fix whatever is broken and use it. Becoming an orphan at a very young age, made me to take up the role of a mother for my both younger brother. Growing up in many different homes and places , I managed to adapt quickly and always had to be on my survival mode and very resilience indeed.

My Mother, Dr. Arunmozhiarasi (whom sacrifices her life for us) and "The Saint of the Gutters", Mother Teresa, is my first role model for me to come this far. My mother always kept saying to me that "You are always outstanding and talented girl" You will achieve wonders one day!

I started my career path even at very young age ,18 helping underprivileged children for free education because I know they can't afford to go additional classes like others. I had taught more than 300 students for free to get better results and thats what I would say my 1st achievement is to see them excelling well in their studies.

Then, I continued my studies for Undergraduate Bachelor of Psychology in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia and excelled well till I got scholarship offer to continue my studies for my both Masters and PhD in University at Cambridge, United Kingdom

While doing my Bachelors, I was also very active in charity events and societies where my own society ( which was formed in 2009) won the " Best Society of 2012" by SME Award in Malaysia for actively organising more than 100 events on the purpose of helping charity.

I was also in Malaysian Book of Record for creating the largest heart shape mosaic Origami . During my internship, I did organised a Charity Talent Time event show for a few selected orphanage homes and underprivileged children, in one of the prestigious and famous hall in Malaysia. It was a huge success and the stories was covered in most media about this children .

As the Mother Teresa's notable quote, " We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean, but if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something". The happiness in their eyes made me to have more burning desire to help those in need. This where my passion started build up to help as many people as possible in many ways.

During my studies at UK , I also started training with a Psychological Services company to get myself more skilled and knowledgeable on the area of my practice. I was volunteering myself on the cases of addiction and mental illness. My specific interest grows within to help the addiction and mental illness community .

While in UK, I was selected as a Malaysia Ambassador for The Face of Anglia Ruskin Cambridge University for 2013/2014. Besides that, I am also a dancer and choreographer where I have created history with my team becoming The Champions in both 2013 and 2014 for UK Kings Of Ghana Dance Championships and to break the stigma of "Book Nerd"

After my postgraduate studies and returned back homeland, I was hired as a programme coordinator in an Non Government Organisation (NGO) for me to promote reading and writing in English and slow learning programme in 102 selected Tamil schools in Malaysia.

I still remember the Tamil schools that used this programme manage to score above 86% success rate and that was one of the proud moment in my life too. I was also featured in Uma Publication Magazines in 2016 for being the trendsetter and inspiring young talent to come out of their shell to express their emotions through media platform such as Musically and Dubsmash. I had a hard time getting bad comments and struggle throughout the new trendsetter title . I was also been a victim of cyberbullying where I started creating awareness by giving motivational talks to overcome cyber bullying in media platform.

Eventually I also started a campaign with an Non Government Organisation (NGO) to plant trees around the world and spread it throughout media platform by" Go Green Challenge" in 2016. It was amazing to see many people around the world participated at that point and posting the videos of planting at least one tree at their home.

Later in 2017, I got hired as Clinical Psychologist at Serene Retreat in Sabah, Malaysia and became the partnership with the company where I started myself growing and developing Serene Psychology Centre and Serene Kuala Lumpur which we are specialised for Mental Illness and Addiction.

Throughout that I helped many individuals, family and friends to recover . Serene Retreat was featured as the best luxurious treatment facility in luxurious rehab magazine. I also started creating awareness and writing articles about  mental illness , addiction and hypnotherapy by giving free talks in the universities , corporate companies, government offices and live radio talks.

I have done more than 300 motivational talks and workshops for individuals ,corporate and families, 154 Online Webinars and Live Pods and Media lives in Malaysia, UK, Germany, Australia , Filipino, Vietnam and Singapore.

Currently I am doing free consultation for those that in need of counselling services online due to the pandemic issue. I am also in the midst of starting a new community based rehabilitation for mental illness and addiction. Currently I also deputy president for an Non Government Organisation (NGO) - PERSATUAN BANTU, where we are running a campaign for the month of July on "Save Food and Beat Hunger" where our goal is to feed at least 800 people by end of the month and we volunteer to deliver foods to the homeless , old folk homes and orphanage community. Our vision is to have "Quality and Passion Towards Community" .

Besides that, we also helping the disable community to get more support from government and creating awareness to the society about their challenges during this pandemic. Other than that , I also helping to do marketing and publicity for those who running small businesses from home via my media platform for free.

My future goal is to open more community based rehab to create more awareness in other Asia countries that focused on the mental illness and addiction where the cases is increasing day by day. I have currently started to venturing and being a consultant for few other passionate team on the progress of starting a new community rehabs in a few other states in Malaysia.

Currently, I'm working on launching my own community retreat centre, "GREEN WINGS PSYCHOLOGY CENTRE" which will be focusing on mental illness and all kind of addiction at Selangor state and Kuala Lumpur state in Malaysia.
