It is undeniable that the world and our role within it rapidly changed with many conventional career paths becoming and null and void except those that require the human touch, love and care which brings therapeutic benefits, compassion, emotions, decision making, plays a primary role in the physical development and mental well-being which gives the strength to fight disease. This cannot be replaced with electrical wires and artificial intelligence!!!.

Hence the concept of “Human Care” was seen as a major need in the present world !!!. Sri Lanka is world renowned for its caring warm hospitality and friendly nature. The rich cultural heritage dating back to centuries, hinged on a traditional “family” concept  of care and empathy. A young boy, in the island nation of Sri Lanka,  raised in such a typical traditional Sri Lankan family, watched in awe, how his parents, engaged in the Healthcare field, work all day, in major Hospitals to save lives, care for the sick and needy. while caring for their own kith and kin. He watched in wonder the power of the human touch…!!!

He realized how very few paid attention to this need, in a fast moving economic driven electronically wired, human society!!! An idea emerged a vision to make a change and gave birth to this Concept of Caregiving, and brought to life a dream he envisioned. Thus, he went on to establish Surado Campus of Business Management Private Limited in 2012, which pioneered Professional Healthcare Programmes in Sri Lanka, revolutionizing Vocational Skills Development, in Healthcare Education.

A new job market was born with an everlasting need with an ongoing demand and high employability, due to the growing need for human companionship for Caregivers for  the Elderly, Children, Sick and the differently abled, across the world. Such was the success of Surado, that in 2019, the Institute was awarded as Best in the Healthcare field of Vocational Training, and the Chairman / Founder of Surado, Mr. P. S. Rachitha Buddhika became Sri Lanka’s National Award Winner for his visionary thinking. Surado Campus of Business Management ( Private ) Limited is a beautifully crafted Campus with modern State of the  art facilities and equipment, fully accredited by many Local and Foreign Quality Educational providers and has a network of partnerships  with many Healthcare institutes to across the globe.
