Mrs.Tharshika Hayan is a LLB Holder and working as Project Coordinator in UN- IOM Sri Lanka. She is the Provincial Coordinator for Freedom human rights Organization in Sri Lanka, and she is a LeoLion member of Lions club internation.

Tharshika is the elderst daughter of the family of Mr & Mrs Thurainayagam and the beloved wife of Mr. Hayan. Having a little sister named Lakshika -Civil engineer in Sri Lanka.

Her father is a Christian Priest and Mother is a retired Teacher. Her husband is a leading businessman (Vehicle) in Sri Lanka.

Tharshika Is a proud product of Jaffna Vembadi Girl’s High school and completed her Law degree from Oxford Brooke University – UK currently employed as a Project Coordinator in UN IOM – Sri Lanka.

She is doing her role as Provincial Secretary of Freedom Human Rights Organization for Northern province. And a Member of Lions Clubs International.

She is a Gender Trainer- Trained By Women Education and Research Center (WERC- Colombo)

She was visited to India, Delhi as a Sri Lankan Youth Delegate - National Youth Services Counsil in 2015

She was awarded The Mother Thresa Peace Award in 2021 by Lanka Achievers Foundation

She was Awarded and honored as “Keerthi Sri Vishwaabhimani” in 2023 By Human Rights Organization.

She was a Radio Jokey and the Video Jokey from 2018-2023 in Christian Media

She was working in NGO Field from 2014- 2022 and Joined UN in 2023.

She completed Mandatory protection related courses in UN and completed 1^st Aid Training by UNDSS in 2024.

She is the General Secretary of Her Church -Messiah Ministries Church – Sri Lanka

She is the Worship Leader and the Youth Leader of her church.

She is an energetic and enthusiastic young leader in her surroundings, especially the young people around her looking on her as their role model and the supporter for all the social / community related assistance.

She is a motivator for young people and the students to make them to be a good quality leader of their own community as well as the country.
