Ts. Hamadin bin Baba was born in Kampung Bingkor Baru, Keningau Sabah, Malaysia on 27th September 1978. His father Tuan Haji Baba Bin Mekah was a farmer while his mother Puan Wasimah Binti Yusof Basimin was a full -time housewife. The 7th child of 10 siblings but only 9 siblings left when his young sister passed away in 1983. Looking back to his education background, he attended his primary school at SK Bingkor, Keningau Sabah (1985-1990) and secondary school at SMK Agama Ranau (1991-1993) and SMK Agama Kota Kinabalu (1994-1995). While waiting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results, on 3rd January 1996, he entered Puast GIATMARA Kota Kinabalu training as a trainee in the Welding Technology and Metal Fabrication Course for 6 months and that is the beginning for him to strengthen his technical knowledge. On 17th July 1996, he continued his technical studies at the MARA Skills Institute (IKM) Kuching Sarawak in the field of Electrical Technology Certificate (Domestic & Industrial) for 2 years. After that on 1st July 1998 he continued his studies for two and a half years at the British Malaysian Institute (BMI) Gombak, Selangor majoring in Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, presently BMI is part of Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL).
In 2000, he was offered a Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics (Hons) course at the UK -based University of Northumbria, Newcastle United Kingdom, but unfortunately the offer had to be turned down due to financial problems. That did not break his spirit to further his studies, so in 2001 he was accepted as a student at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS), and offered a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, however, his study sessions had to be stopped because of unavoidable health problems. Because of his interest and dream to further his studies to a higher level, in 2015, he continued his studies at University Utara Malaysia (UUM) through the method of Distance Learning (PJJ) and year 2019, successfully completed his studies at UUM in the Bachelor of Public Administration (Hons). A year apart in 2020, he also finished his studies in Master of Management (MOM) at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK) Kuala, Lumpur.
In 2003, he started his career as a Computer Technician at Cytech Enterprise Company, based in Kota Kinabalu and was appointed Sales Manager in 2006 at the same company. Although his time is limited to work and daily tasks in the company, community work such as helping the youth in deepening their skills are still implemented especially in the field of electronics. Therefore, on 1 September 2008 he was accepted to work at one of the technical training institutes in Sabah, Malaysia as an instructor until December 2010. Then he was promoted as Officer in that institute Sabah State Office effective 1st January 2011. Presently, he was appointed as Manager in the same institute at Headquarters and conducting various Entrepreneurship Development Programs, especially for trainees and graduate’s trainees. He is currently designing several more Entrepreneurship Development Programs to help more trainees immerse themselves in the field of entrepreneurship.
He has been very active in sports and associations since he was in school and until now has been active in playing badminton and futsal. Based on his experience, Ts. Hamadin Bin Baba is not only involved as an executor at the grassroots level but he is also a person who is very concerned about the welfare of employees and trainees at his work. He is the Chairman of Institute’s Welfare Body and also a Member of the District Action Committee. During that period, many welfare works were implemented, including the implementation of the Housing Program for the poorest in the district. Contribute in various forms to the Orphanage and Mahad Tahfiz. In fact, he also joined the Task Force for 3 years in a row to survey the situation of the rural poor area in Sabah State.
In terms of administration, although he has a technical background, his responsibilities are very professional. An officer who is very committed to the work performed. His dream is to increase his potential to the highest level in technical entrepreneur development specially to make a business program’s plan that can be easily implemented to his trainees. The technical skills he possesses allow him to solve things in the best possible way. Based on his good network of cooperation with various parties, he has been invited to attend various seminars and conferences such as the International Finance Conference MARA - Japan (MBOIF -OISCA) 2017 held at The Magellan Sutera Resort Kota Kinabalu. Apart from that, he was also the Advisor one of the Sabah’s Cooperative Board (Koperasi Usahawan) in 2011-2017 and was once appointed as the Main Coordinator of the Sabah Family Ride (SFR) 2015-2017.
Based on the experience, contribution and excellence shown in 2020, Ts. Hamadin Bin Baba received the Professional Technologies Recognition from the Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT) in the field of Electrical & Electronics Expertise. Such recognition may use the title of Ts. /PTech. In the future, he is committed to helping more young people to seek knowledge in technical fields and make technical career a career in business because for him, technical field can not only be a job but it will be part of the lives of individuals who study and practise it. Through his experience of over 20 years in the technical field, the field is very broad and has great potential to be adapted to an entrepreneurial career.

This international recognition is a symbol of recognition to him for his hard work and previous achievements in helping people in need. He also expressed his gratitude and thanks to his beloved wife Puan Razimah Binti Mohamad who is the backbone in whatever activities are done. Not to forget, Ts. Hamadin bin Baba addressed this appreciation to both his mother and father for making him a useful person to his family and society.
