SINGARAVELLO BIOGRAPHY

Singaravello s/o Subramaniam, was born in Bukit Mertajam district, Penang on16th of September, 1973. He is from a small & below average living family. His father passed away when he was very young & he was raised by his uncle due to their family situation. Singaravello went for his primary education at SJKT Kampung Baru, Bukit Mertajam. After completing his primary school, he managed to continue his studies to secondary at the SMK Bukit Mertajam. Singaravello had also managed to complete his studies up to Form 3 where he completed his SRP examinations.

Singaravello is able to communicate well in Tamil & Bahasa Malaysia languages. After completed his schooling, he started to work as lorry driver in the year 1999. As time passed, he started to feel tired with the lorry driver job due to long hours of work, low pay & also he realized that he had too little time to spend with his family. He then started to look out for other better options.

He was inspired by his father-in-law business, Singaravello planned to go for a saloon course in year 2002. He then attended & completed his certification in saloon at a local college & started to work as a barber in 2003. As he was encouraged & also helped by his father-in-law, Singaravello managed to open up his very first own shop named as MAS MITHRA HAIR STUDIO in March 2003. Since then, he started to run & manage the saloon business all alone by himself until year 2015. He worked hard in his own shop, slowly learned to upgraded further his skills in saloon business.

Later in 2016, Singaravello decided to change his shop's name to VERLARZ CLASSIC BARBER & later took another step ahead to move further up in business. He started to teach his very 1^st student who later worked for him in his shop.

Dreams & Goals in life made Singaravello work much harder to further expand his business to next level.  His dreams had made him to train more students since year 2017. The year 2019 was another successful year for him as he managed to open another new branch of his VERLARZ CLASSIC BARBER shop in Penang.

Singaravello had also made another remarkable success in his business journey as he had trained about 13 new students between 2017 to year 2021. All the trained students are working for him at his both shops now. Well, he did not only expanded his business but had also trained people & had provided job for them.

Though busy managing the both saloon shops & business, Singgaravello had also actively involved himself in charity service since year 2019. He started a NGO named as HANA, covering all over Malaysia with main base in Penang. As the Chairman of the NGO, he was active in helping people who were jobless, homeless & also the less fortunate people. The team already helped many people & also been providing food, groceries, milk powder & cash to those who in need especially during the pandemic period.

Apart of business & charity, Singaravello was also an active person in physical sports & other activities. Since young, he had interest in playing football. He had started to play football since 1991 & later he had also played for several clubs until year 2010.

Singaravello also had interest in Body Building where he started to get professional training to join competitions. Hard work & dedicated, Singaravello won the MR. PENANG title for Body Building Category Champion in 2014. Later in 2015, he won 3^rd in the MR. SADO championship. He continued his journey in Body Building with more successes when he won 1^st Runner-Up in the MR. PENANG championship in 2016. Later in 2017, he won the 3^rd place in MR.PENANG championship. He also won the MR OLYMPIC GYM title for the WINGS OF STRENGTH CHAMPION category. He is now a GYM TRAINER in the SUN SURIA GYM PENANG & OLYMPIC GYM PENANG.

Singaravello has several plans to further expand his saloon business to next level by opening up a Saloon Academy to train more students & create job opportunities for many. He plans to start up the academy soon after the pandemic is over. Singaravello highly appreciates & he is very proud to receive the Asia Award for his achievement. He is truly honored & would like to thank all for the award.
