Diyani Balthazaar has bagged Asia's Young Inspiring Girl Award

Diyani Balthazaar born on 22nd 1997, since an extremely young age with a very curious mind and a pursuit to learn more, is an extremely avid learner. Her journey began at a very young age as she had lots of excitement and enthusiasm for Mathematics, English and Reasoning.

I am one of the few young achievers of her age group to have achieved so many meritorious awards and accomplishments at a Sri Lanka levels. My achievements started in my school days. During my school days, I was interested in learning anything. I spent too much time reading too many stories I got used to changing myself like the characters in the story During my school years, I participated in mathematics and social science competitions. I was selected as a Head Prefect during my 10th standard school. I became the head of Band group and became the first level band in Batticaloa district. I was selected as the best leader in the leadership training course. I have served for some time as a first aider at St. John Ambulance service. I got second and third place at the provincial level for participation in Tamil Language Day competition during the Advance Level Studies.

After my Advance level examination. I went to Work in Insurance Company. I achieved 1st target within 2 months. And I worked as a Store Keeper in Election Commission in Batticaloa. After that I entered to the university. At the same time, I taught some poor students in my area. Three of them passed the matriculation examination. I continued my education with the income from photocopying for my educational needs.

Through this I understood that poverty is never a barrier to education. In my Second year of university life, I taught to my juniors. I learned all kinds of courses that understanding should not be missed. So far I have learned more than fifteen Courses. With the curiosity to learn new things and the goal to Study me in the business sector I chose in Economics special in university studies. I am involved in research to find answers to various questions due to the search for new things.

I secured the second place in research competition conducted by THUMI organization at the university level. Currently I am writing my article in the monthly magazine of Thumi organization. My Article has been selected and published in a magazine published by St. Joseph College(Bangaloare) in India.

I have been conferred upon the title of "Asia's Young Inspiring Girl Award " in the category of  Asia's Publication Awards 2023, by Asia award powered by RULA for my academic excellence. I am immensely proud and feels honored to have received this title in association with RULA awards and World Research Congress.
