Prof.
Dr. A.K.M. Ahasanul Haque is an internationally renowned academic and
researcher whose contributions to the field of marketing have garnered global
recognition. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Graduate School of Management, Universiti
Putra Malaysia (UPM), a prestigious AACSB-accredited institution, and has
consistently demonstrated exceptional expertise in his domain. His academic
foundation is further strengthened by a Master of Business Studies and a
Bachelor of Commerce from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. Currently, he serves
as a Professor of Marketing at the International Islamic University Malaysia
(IIUM), where he also leads as the Head of Research in the Department of
Business Administration. His appointments as an Adjunct and Visiting Professor
in several international universities underline his respected standing in academia.
Dr.
Ahasanul Haque's research achievements are remarkable, with an extensive
portfolio of publications in highly regarded journals indexed by Web of
Science, Scopus, ABDC, and ABS and other indexed. His Google Scholar profile
boasts over 10,400 citations and an H-index of 49, reflecting his significant
impact on the academic community. Similarly, his Scopus-indexed works
demonstrate a robust academic presence, with an H-index of 20. His research
covers diverse and contemporary topics, including international marketing,
digital marketing, consumer behavior, Islamic marketing, and the application of
artificial intelligence in marketing. Noteworthy contributions include studies
on AI-enabled service quality in hospitality, risk perception in ecotourism,
and sustainable health systems using Islamic principles.
Over
his illustrious career, Prof. Dr. Haque has received numerous accolades for his
contributions to research and academia. Prestigious honors such as the Emerald
Literati Award and recognition by the British Publishing House highlight his
outstanding contributions to scholarly work. Beyond his accolades, he has
actively participated in editorial capacities for several high-impact
international journals, further cementing his influence in shaping global
marketing research.
Teaching
and mentorship have been central to Dr. Haque’s academic career. With over two
decades of experience, he has taught a wide array of marketing-related subjects
across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, including courses on
digital marketing, consumer behavior, and research methodology. His dedication
